A Successful Cargo Hold Cleaning Operation aboard the M/V Darya Devi

Teaming up with Deep Water Servicos Gerais e Operações Portuárias Ltda., Seachios Marine Services recently undertook a significant task at the strategic port of Itaqui in the northeastern region of the country. Our mission: to serve the M/V Darya Devi vessel from Anglo-Eastern, focusing on a meticulous cleaning operation of its 7 cargo holds, post its coal cargo discharge.

In Brazil, it's a common sight to see cargoes like metcoke and petcoke arriving. Following the unloading of such crucial cargo, vessels require a thorough cleaning to prepare for the loading of grains, a process exemplified by the recent servicing of the M/V Darya Devi.

Completing the cleaning of all seven cargo holds in a swift two and a half days, our operation efficiency is a hallmark of our approach. Guided by project management principles, risk management strategies, and meticulous on-board operation planning, we ensure timely delivery that aligns seamlessly with the schedules of both shipowners and charterers.

Our pride stems not only from meeting and exceeding client expectations but also from our ability to prevent unnecessary costs associated with ship rejections, a common pitfall when inexperienced firms are entrusted with such critical tasks.

Through a robust partnership between Deep Water Servicos Gerais e Operacoes Portuarias Ltda. and Seachios Marine Services, we have solidified our presence in the northern and northeastern regions, committed to delivering vessels at the pinnacle of purity and standards required for their specific cargo. This commitment stands as our defining advantage in the industry.
