The scope of work involves the comprehensive cleaning of the ship loader at berth 105 of the Port of Itaqui. To ensure smooth execution and regulatory compliance, our Chief Commercial Officer, Philipp Alves, engaged directly with EMAP, the port authority overseeing operations at the Port of Itaqui. During this meeting, Philipp emphasized the critical importance of maintaining the ship loader to optimize operational efficiency while prioritizing environmental conservation in the surrounding area.
Following a thorough evaluation and approval by the port authority, the cleaning operations commenced on January 22, 2025, with an expected completion date of February 6, 2025.
The cleaning process utilizes high-pressure hydroblasting to remove accumulated debris and contaminants, combined with the safe extraction and disposal of both liquid and solid residues. Additionally, stringent environmental protection measures are implemented throughout the operation to prevent any adverse impact on the port ecosystem.
